By electronically depositing $50 or more to your Axcess America® Prepaid MasterCard® on a recurring basis, you may become eligible for the Axcess America Overdraft Program*. In certain instances, this service can give you peace of mind by helping to avoid the embarrassment of receiving a transaction denial should a shortage occur.
The Axcess America Overdraft Program is not a loan or a line of credit. Should you inadvertently overdraw your account, we have the discretion to cover your overdrafts up to a total amount of 50% of your recurring deposit, to a maximum of $250.
Should an overdraft occur, the cost of the transaction, the overdraft amount, plus any applicable fees, are deducted from the card balance. The negative balance on the card is then automatically repaid with the next deposit to the card.
We are pleased to be able to provide this discretionary Overdraft Program as a courtesy for our valued customers in appreciation of the confidence they have placed in Axcess America.
* The Axcess America Overdraft Program requires a minimum recurring ACH or direct deposit of $50 or more. At the bank’s discretion, any in-person withdrawal, ATM withdrawal, or other electronic debit exceeding the available balance may trigger overdraft fees of up to $20.00 per occurrence and/or a daily fee of up to $3.00 for each day the account remains overdrawn. You will be required to bring your account to a positive balance within 30 days of the date of the overdraft. Whether your overdrafts will be paid is discretionary, and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, any debit that would result in the negative balance exceeding the maximum amount of overdraft privilege, including fees assessed, may be denied. Payment of an overdraft may also be declined if you have been overdrawn in excess of 30 days. Excessive overdrafts may result in the revoking of overdraft privilege at the bank’s discretion. See Cardholder Agreement for details.
