What is the Axcess America Overdraft Program?

The Axcess America Overdraft Program is not a loan, line of credit, or savings option. Should you inadvertently exceed the available balance in your account, we may, at our discretion, approve or deny any transaction or authorization up to the predetermined limits.

Is the Overdraft Program available for all cards?

No. The Axcess America Overdraft Program is available only for participating card programs and for any cardholder who has a recurring deposit loaded to their account.

What is a recurring deposit?

A recurring deposit may be a direct deposit of a paycheck from an employer or a government agency, or an ACH transfer from a cardholder's checking or savings account.

Note: The Axcess America Overdraft Program will not be available to you until after the first or second successful deposit to the card greater than or equal to $50. For some programs, cardholders must contact Customer Service to request availability of the program. See your Cardholder Agreement for more details.

How does the Overdraft Program work?

The Axcess America Overdraft Program enables you to spend more than the balance of your card, giving you peace of mind should overages occur. The overdraft amount and applicable fees are automatically collected from your next deposit to the card. The Overdraft Program is a discretionary feature of your card that may be removed if you no longer meet the requirements for consideration.

Once qualified for the program, we will have the ability to cover your overdrafts up to an amount equal to 50% of your recurring deposit amount, to a maximum of $250.00.

How much will I have available to me?

Once you qualify for the Overdraft Program, you will have available 50% of the recurring deposit amount up to a maximum amount of $250.00. For example, if your recurring deposit amount is $250, you have up to $125 available.

How soon will I have the Overdraft Program available to me?

At our discretion, the Axcess America Overdraft Program will be available to you after your first or second successful recurring deposit of $50 or more. For some programs, cardholders must contact Customer Service to request availability of the program. See your Cardholder Agreement for more details.

How do I pay it back?

The overdrafted amount and any associated fees will be automatically collected when the next deposit is made to your account.

Can the Overdraft Program be taken away?

Yes. This overdraft program is extended to cardholders as a courtesy, and can be revoked at the bank’s discretion.

What are the fees for using the Overdraft Program?

Detailed information regarding fees and fee amounts is contained in your Cardholder Agreement.

What if I do not have the money in my account for the Overdraft Program fees?

Overdraft fees will accrue in your account and will be collected at the time the overdraft is resolved – normally the next deposit to your account. Overdraft fees can also be resolved by mailing us a cashier’s check or money order for the amount required.
